Help with the CarSnapper app.

A car was identified wrongly

Open the card and tap Wrong car? to tell us what it should be. Identification is done by AI and it will sometimes get one wrong, so corrections really help.

A spot did not work

Keep one car clearly in view and try again in good light. Any angle works. If no car can be identified, nothing is added and it does not count towards your 5 free spots, because only successful spots count.

Restore Pro on a new phone

Install CarSnapper, sign in to the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with, then open Settings and tap Restore purchases.

Your subscription can be restored, but your collection cannot be moved. CarSnapper has no login, so a collection stays with the app on the phone it was made on.

Cancel Pro

Subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google, so cancel there. Cancelling stops future renewals and never deletes anything you have collected.

  • iPhone and iPad: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then CarSnapper.
  • Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then CarSnapper.

You can also get there from the app: Settings, then Manage subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

Camera or location not working

Check that CarSnapper is allowed to use the camera in your phone's settings. Location is optional: spotting works without it, and it only adds a pin to your own private map. You can turn it on or off in your phone's settings at any time.

Delete your data

In the app, go to Settings, then Your data, then Delete my data. It is immediate and permanent. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. If you need help, email us or see Delete your data.
